The Story

The Guard Dog Pet Door gives your dog easy access to the yard without giving up the security of a solid entry door. A three-panel insulated Lexan flap lets pets come and go, and a hinged, locking security panel closes everything off when you want the door sealed up tight. It installs into a rectangular cutout the same way a doorlite goes in, so it works with your existing entry door instead of requiring a separate dog door cut into the wall.

Built from extruded and cellular PVC with stainless steel hinges and a hardened steel lock throw, the Guard Dog is the first pet door engineered to meet residential building codes when integrated into a pre-hung door system. AAMA forced entry testing to 270 lbs, and ASTM E330/E331 compliance mean it holds up to the same pressures your front door does. Made in the USA by Pro-Kay Building Products in Orrum, NC.

Available in two sizes for dogs up to 35 lbs or up to 100 lbs.
